Our kitchen remodel included a complete tear out of our old kitchen and the relocation of our range from an island
to one end of our kitchen and the saw cutting of the concrete to lay a new water line to install an additional sink.
Brenda was very helpful in our selection of new cabinets for the kitchen. She also drove us to numerous locations before
we made our final selection of pieces of granite for the new counter tops in the kitchen as well as the separate bar in our
family room.
They exceeded our expectations in assisting
us in redesigning our kitchen and cabinets. We replaced all our cabinets and appliances. We also replaced the
tile flooring not only in our kitchen, but also in our bar area, the entry area from our garage, the laundry room, and one
bathroom.
The most important thing was adherence to their
original detailed schedule of the work and adherence to the original cost estimate. The kitchen remodel was commenced
in early March 2006 and completed on time in Early May 2006 - something we have not experienced with other contractors.
Except for change orders requested by us, the remodel adhered to the original cost estimate. They supervised the work
done by sub contractors and made sure the detailed work schedule and deadlines were followed.

as we gutted our kitchen to the studs, added space and then re-built it from the ground up. From the initial planning,

When other people tell me horror stories about their kitchen remodeling
experience, I always wonder -- should I tell them how great it could have been if they'd known about Brenda & Rory?
Or, should I just keep quiet for fear that hearing about my wonderful adventure will only make them feel worse?
No kidding, I not only LOVE my new kitchen -- I actually enjoyed the experience of creating
it. Brenda & Rory started when they said they would, finished when they said they would -- and they seemed to have screened
their subcontractors on the basis of personality, as well as skill and reliability. I had expected to feel "violated"
from having a stream of workers in and out of my house, but instead I was a bit sorry to see them go when they were finished.
Design-wise, both Brenda and Rory had tons of ideas for creating the kind of environment I
wanted -- and they also were patient and encouraging collaborators when I wanted to implement some ideas of my own. The result
is a thing of beauty that I never get tired of living in -- or showing off!

We first worked with Brenda and Rory after the 1994 earthquake. We needed our kitchen redone and decided to have
the guest bathroom remodeled as well. After working with Brenda on the design and the materials available for the cabinets,
sinks and counter tops, my husband and I felt enough at ease with them to go on vacation and let them take care of the demolition
in our absence. We really appreciated the fact that everything was in writing, the payment schedule was laid out before hand,
and the workers were always on time. If there was ever a delay, we received a phone call advising of that fact. When changes
had to be made because of unforeseen circumstances, a written change was immediately sent out. When we decided to redo our
master bath a few years ago, we once again called Kitchen's, etc. because we knew that everything would be handled professionally
and in a timely manner. Cost is always a factor in remodeling, but having some one who is knowledgeable, professional and
responsive to the client adds value that cannot be measured in dollars and cents.

I had my Kitchen done by Brenda and Rory about 8-9 years ago
and it still looks the same as the day the cabinets were installed. I chose white so that my kitchen never looked dated. My
counter top is Corian very easy to keep clean. Brenda and Rory are the best in designing - They both pay attention to detail.

appraiser and have viewed every type of kitchen imaginable. I checked out several of the kitchens which had been remodeled
by them and decided that their company, Kitchens Etc. was the way to go. I wanted someone who would come to our home, listen
to our concerns, design a kitchen that would suit our family's needs and then take care of everything else. We did not
